The BCAA ́s Extreme Force GoldNutrition® formula combines branched-chain amino acids (BCAA’s) in a 4:1:1 ratio (Leucine, Isoleucine and Valine) with Glutamine. The combination of BCAA s and Glutamine results in a formula that boosts protein synthesis, enables better muscle recovery after exercise and prevents chronic fatigue.
BCAAs are essential amino acids that comprise around 33% of the muscle protein of our body, and which are essential to preserve the lean muscle mass. Furthermore, Glutamine is a conditionally essential amino acid, which means our body has the capacity to produce it but in stress ful situations, namely during physical exercise , infection or surgery, it is not produced in enough quantity to meet the needs. Glutamine is the free amino acid that is found in the highest quantity in the muscles, accounting for around 50% of the total muscular amino acids.
Supplementation with BCAA's and Glutamine is ext remely important given that they have an anti-catabolicaction, preventing central fatigue, contributing to protein synthesis and accelerating recovery after exercise.
